Deansgate - Castlefield Station is the

greenest on the Manchester Metrolink

network.

 

Landscape Projects worked with Simpson Haugh Partnership Architects and Transport for Greater Manchester to design a new identity for the station.

 

Making use of innovative sedum planting between tracks, green walls and roof deck tree planting, the design combines planting with paving surfaces including

green slate, recycled green glass and

green gravel.
